We break for lunch in Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, famed for its culture, shopping and people. The city has been revitalised in recent years and there are museums and galleries to explore.
We enjoy a scenic tour of the Trossachs, breaking for lunch at Kilmahog Woollen Mill and returning via Loch Achray and Dukes Pass (weather permitting).
We return to the hotel this afternoon and following an early dinner, we head to Edinburgh for the Royal Military Tattoo evening performance.
Set to the amazing backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, you'll enjoy fantastic music from the popular Massed Pipes and Drums as well as marvellous displays from the Massed Military bands.
The Tattoo also showcases talent from across 4 continents so you'll see everything from pipers and gymnasts to singers and dancers!!
After a leisurely breakfast we return to Edinburgh one of the most popular and cultural destinations in Europe, with a thriving arts scene, a good wash of museums and galleries and an Old and New Town ensemble that have earned the city an 'Athens of the North' nickname and World Heritage acclaim.
