Southern Cotswolds tour
A lovely day out exploring the southern Cotswolds. We break for coffee in Marlborough and continue to the ‘Capital of the Cotwolds’, Cirencester for a lunch break. In the afternoon, we pass attractive Bibury, where we see National Trust Arlington Row. We break for tea in burford and return via the Vale of the White Horse.
There’s lots to see and do in oxford. They include discovering the history and heritage of a city that is home to 1,500 listed buildings from every major period of British architectural history, from the 11th century onwards. Attractions include the University of Oxford and its 38 colleges; Bodleian Library, the museums and Oxford Castle and Prison right in the centre – perfect to explore on foot.
Built in the mid-1500's, this beautiful Grade I listed Tudor manor has a truly unique story.
