Beautiful St Ives and St Michael's Mount

We visit the charming seaside resort of St Ives with its cobbled streets, full of history, legend and tradition, winding between pretty fisherman’s' cottages. St Ives is also known for its artistic connections, the Tate Gallery opened a branch here in 1993 and looks after the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

This afternoon, we travel to Marazion, with its fabulous sandy beach linked to St Michael's Mount – for the more energetic why not
visit the stunning St Michael’s Mount (admission payable locally and tides permitting), alternatively take a stroll, relax and soak up one of the finest views in the country.

Padstow and Tintagel

Padstow is a charming working fishing port surrounded by glorious sandy beaches, at the head of the Camel River. Watching the everyday ebb and flow of harbour life is a perfect way to spend a day. A foodie destination with popular eateries such as Rick Stein’s

Seafood Restaurant. In the afternoon, we journey to tintagel, an enchanting place with a magical castle, which will be forever associated with legends of King Arthur.

The Eden Project

We visit the Eden Project. Dubbed the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’ by some, the Eden Project is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes. Experience the sights, smells and scale of the rainforests in the Rainforest Biome - the world's largest greenhouse - and discover the tropical plants that are used to produce everyday products.

In the 30-acre Roofless Biome see hemp, sunflowers and other plants that could change our future, flourishing under the Cornish sun. The biomes are spectacularly set in a hillside surrounded by huge landscaped gardens.
