Tour of Norfolk’s Lavender Fields with cream tea

Today we enjoy a day exploring sandringham House, the muchloved country retreat of Her Majesty the Queen. Entrance is included so you can enjoy the house, gardens and museum, all of which are set in 60 acres which have been called ‘the finest of the Royal Gardens’, the fascinating museum contains many royal vehicles and mementoes.
Experience the beautiful Lavender Fields. Our guide will entertain us with their local knowledge and history of the surrounding villages and explain the stilling process of Lavender at Caley Mill before returning to Norfolk Lavender, where a cream tea awaits.
This excursion takes us to the Norfolk coast and charming Cromer, famous for its crab fishing, wide open beaches and its pier, which hosts the only ‘end of pier show’ in the country. Later we head to a real hidden gem. Displaying Stuart architecture and Georgian interior Felbrigg Hall (National Trust, admission extra) is a must see! Wander through the hall and it many rooms as you take in its many treasures before visiting the walled garden.
4* Elizabethan-style mansion surrounded by 250 acres of stunning wooded Norfolk parkland. This grade II listed country house, built in 1885 by Robert Kellet-Long boasts many of the beautiful original features, helping it to retain its beloved character. The hotel has a highly regarded golf course. Extensive leisure facilities which include a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. All bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms, TV, telephone and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel does not have a lift, but there are some ground floor rooms.
