Scilly Isles
Following breakfast, we make our way to the ferry terminal and our boat to the Scilly Isles.
We arrive into St Mary’s Isles of Scilly Terminal at lunchtime and a 5 minute walk will take us in to Hugh town, the island’s “capital”.
It is situated between two beaches and is home to a variety of shops, art and craft galleries and restaurants.
Time allowing, you can also stroll along the garrison high walls above the town or enjoy the nature trails or coastal paths.
Mid-afternoon we return to Penzance having enjoyed a lovely few hours on the Scilly Isles.

Penzance
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Penzance, famous for its pirates, well the singing variety anyway.
The historic port faces Mount’s Bay and has one of the mildest climates in the UK.
One of the striking things about the town is the abundance of palm trees and gardens full of sub-tropical plants.
Wander the town’s streets and you’ll come across the fabulously decorated Egyptian House, the statue of local hero Sir Humphry Davy (pioneer of mine safety), art galleries, book sellers and new age shops which add a slightly bohemian feel to the town.
Land's End & St Ives
This morning we make our way to Land’s End, with its rugged, wave battered cliffs. It is the most westerly point in mainland England and the most visited outdoor tourist attraction in Cornwall.
From here sit back and enjoy the spectacular coastal views of West Cornwall on our scenic drive to St Ives.
In St Ives, we have time to explore the medieval fishing port with its maze of stone cottages, narrow streets and old-world charm, you may like to sample a Cornish cream tea - don’t forget to put your jam on first!
