Today our excursion takes us to the south Devon railway.

Sit back and relax as you are transported along the stunning valley of the River Dart, before you take your seats for your second train journey on the Paignton and Dartmouth railway to Kingswear.

Our next journey is on board the ferry to Dartmouth, you can enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure, the coach returns us to the hotel later this afternoon.

West Somerset Railway

This morning we journey back in time as we board the West somerset railway.

Enjoy the spectacular scenery as we meander through the rolling Quantock Hills, this memorable journey takes us past the unspoilt villages, fantastic countryside and amazing views of Dunster Castle and Minehead’s seaside.

River Exe Cruise

We travel to the first town in Devon, Exmouth, with its two miles of golden sandy beaches, Exmouth is the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Jurassic Coast.

In the morning, we take a cruise along the calm waters of the Exe estuary. Travelling on the family owned Stuart Line with an entertaining commentary, your skipper will tell you about the history of this area, the beautiful sites and also the resident and visiting wildlife followed by free time.

The Exe is one of the top rivers in the country for wildlife and is a feeding ground for several seals, you may be lucky enough to see the resident seal on your trip!
