"Christmas Eve"

After a very enjoyable breakfast we leave for a full day excursion to the impressive Ironbridge Gorge where the world’s first iron bridge forms the centre of this World Heritage Site.

This fascinating region was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution back in the 19th century.

We have time to explore the village and obtain lunch before we make our way back to the hotel.

Tonight, we have a pre-dinner glass of sherry.

"Christmas Day"

This morning we visit Llandudno, North Wales' main holiday resort.

The town is guarded by the great Orme and little Orme at each end of the promenade to find that elusive last minute gift!

Here we have time for lunch before returning to our hotel in time to relax before dinner.

Tonight we have a visit from Santa Claus.

Boxing Day

Today we enjoy a day out to the historic city of Chester.

You can explore the ‘Rows’, a famous two-tier medieval shopping complex dating from the Middle Ages.

Chester is famous for its many half timbered houses, and you can also enjoy a walk round the top of the red stone battlements of the City Walls, or you may fancy a walk down by the River Dee.

Late afternoon we return to the hotel for tonight’s pre dinner bucks fizz before Dinner.
