We travel to eveshamand its beautiful Blossom Trail, where we expect to see the wonderful colours of springtime. This rural area is renowned for its apple and plum orchards, which burst into life in the spring.
We visit the attractive cathedral city of Worcester. The magniﬁcent cathedral has a variety of architecture, from Norman to Gothic and the Porcelain Museum is well worth a visit. In the afternoon, we travel via the Malvern Hills to Much Marcle and Westons Cider, where, after a tour of the mill, we enjoy a tasting and a delicious cream tea.
We head to the spa town of Cheltenhamtoday to board the Gloucestershire and warwickshire steam railwayfor a journey through rolling Cotswold countryside to Broadway. Your coach will be waiting to take you to nearby sudeley Castle and Gardens. Inside the award winning 1,200 acre estate are many fascinating treasures and breath-taking gardens. sudeleyis the only private castle in England to have a queen buried within its grounds – Katherine Parr, the last of Henry VIII’s six wives lies entombed in the beautiful 15th Century church. We return via the medieval river town of Tewkesbury.
AA 4 star hotel located near the village of Upton St Leonards, Bowden Hall has an air of Regency elegance. The public areas are impressive and the grounds are lovely. All room feature an en-suite bathroom, TV, hairdryer and tea/coﬀee making facilities. No lift (although there is a stair lift to the ﬁrst ﬂoor).
